Job Description: Manage a composites sructures development program. Work with potential suppliers to develop innovative, low cost cryogenic propellant tanks and associated primary structure for launch vehicle. Create development plans that include: materials testing, design validation, and fabrication and testing of demonstration hardware. Evaluate design options and test results provided by potential suppliers.

Requirements: Composite design and analysis experience with evidence that designed hardware has been successfully fabricated, and/or placed into service.
Program Management experience with evidence of ability to control cost and schedule of assigned programs.
Composite fabrication experience desired. Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly of large composite structures.
Experience with evaluating and testing composite materials and composite structure assemblies.
Experience with cryogenics, commercials programs, and production programs would be an asset.
Minimum of 10 years related engineering experience.

Qualifications include a BS/MS in Material Science or Plastics/Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on plastics applications and processing.
